When you've finished slurpin' down a cold glass of rootbeer, don't stop there, eat the straw too!

SlikaStiks are drinking straws that look like any other drinking straw, except it's made out of candy. They come in a variety of flavors: Blueberry, Chocolate Mint, Cotton Candy, Strawberry and Vanilla.

Apparently, they've been in Great Britain for some time now, and proven to be successful. Now, they're being offered in the United States.

A SlikaStik has no holes at first. But as one uses the straw, it starts to become hollow and the more it is used the larger the hollow portion, or hole, becomes. The manufacturer says they don't work very well with hot drinks. They also have a version, made with Isomalt, for folks who can't eat sugar.
