Epicare™ Facial Hair Threading

by Steve

Epicare Facial Hair ThreadingFor you gals dealing with facial hair, and tired of having to shave, pluck, or wax them off, now you can "thread" it off with the new Epicare™ Facial Hair Threader.

Epicare says you just bend the spring as shown, turn the handles inwards and outwards with the spring against your face, and it pulls them all off, even the peach fuzz.

The technology is said to date thousands of years ago in Asia, involving actual cotton threads that were twisted back-n-forth over the skin and snagging the hairs in the process. Expensive salons still use the technique, but require special skills to prevent cutting the skin.

The Epicare Threader doesn't use any thread, but still takes advantage of the same principle in a device that's safe to be used even by a 10 year old.

  • They still do this in Taiwan. There are streets where ladies set up shop and talkn passing women into taking a seat and getting their facial hair removed.

I found a site with a photo of this being done:

  • Unfortunately this is just a blatant rip off from this site:

Epicareā„¢ Facial Hair Removal for Women - Epicare Facial hair removal; without the pain or expense of waxing, damage or darkening of the skin like creams - Quicker & more precise than tweezing!

They even went to the expense of stealing the image. naughty...

  • Will the hair grow back again?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7/02/2006 10:33:00 AM

  • Of course the hair will grow back. There is no hair removal method that permanently removes hair. However, Epicare removes the hair from the roots. Just like waxing where hair is removed from the roots, hair will still grow back.

  • The question was asked, will hair grow back thicker or more coarse? Will it?

By Blogger JoanDM, at 3/31/2008 03:34:00 PM

  • Hair regrowth depends on the individual. I am using Epicare which I bought from www.facialhairthreading.com and my hair grows back no different. Just like if I waxed or tweezed. But a friend of mine, who is darker skinned, and who has been waxing for years, has hair that grows back very dark. It's a little bit thicker. She hates waxing as she has to do it every 2 or 3 days. So, I recommended her Epicare and now she is using it everyday and she loves it!!

  • i love epicare! it is way less expensive and painful than electrolysis or waxing. it is easy to use and very effective. in fact, my chin hair grows in slower and usually lighter!

  • You can buy Epicare from www.facialhairthreading.com They have been selling Epicare since 2004 and is a very reputable company. They only sell online. Customer service is great. They ship internationally (Canada, Asian countries, etc). You can email their customer service at epicare@gmail.com I've been buying from them for the last 4 years. You'll be very happy with them.

  • Threading is very common among Indians.... and it doesn't require any special skill to use a single piece of thread... you just tie the string ends together and twist it a bit in the middle... and put a few fingers from each hand into each hole and expand the holes alternatively with your fingers ... causing the twisted bit to 'move' from side to side.... your skin just needs to be taut and you can single out the hairs or pull them out in a line.
I guess it's a little difficult to describe, but once you see it done it's easy to pick up... saves a lot of money!!!
