Photo-Sharing mixes with Google Maps

by Steve
Monday, August 22, 2005

smugMugWhile not technically a tangible product, but still new and cool, smugMaps offers a way to share photos online using Google Maps. A user uploads their photos to SmugMug.com, and then associates each photo to a geographic location, either by address or GPS coordinates.

So, if you want to see what photos are being posted in your hometown, you can scroll across the map, and drill down to your neighborhood. Maybe you can see if neighbor has posted pictures of his Jacuzzi-sex-party, or not!
