Ultraviolet Light Spray Fools Fishes

Fool-a-FishVision Outdoors, Inc. offers a spray-on product called, "Fool-a-Fish", that's said to increase your chances of catching a fish. When applied to a fishing lure, it makes it more visible to a fish.

Fool-a-Fish's website says that fish can see ultraviolet light reflecting off of smaller prey, and that's what attracts them to their food source. Fool-a-fish simply applies a substance to a fishing lure that allows it to reflect ultraviolet light.

The company also makes a similar product called "Fool-a-bird" that game hunters can use to spray on their decoys.

In light of more recent postings, perhaps they should try a Fool-an-Ant version, too....

We just got back from Alaska where we caught seven halibut all over 100 pounds in three hours but only after we sprayed Fool-a-Fish on our salmon-pieces bait. One guy didn't use Fool-a-Fish because he was a bonehead and he only caught a 15 pounder which we threw back until it grows up.

My sons and I used the new product called "Fool-a-Fish" on our last fishing trip. There were probably 10 - 15 boats on the lake and we were the only ones catching fish. Pretty soon, the other boaters were comming over to see what we were doing to catch the fish as most of them had been on the water for quite some time and had only a few bites with no catches. I showed them the F00l-a-FISH and they were going to get some before their next fishing trip.
