Wasabi Flavored Donuts

Wasabi DonutApparently this is something folks in the Philippines are taking a liking to. A donut shop there is offering donuts with a wasabi-flavored glaze.

Hoops Donuts makes other interesting glazes for boiled bread, including Mint, Coffee, Melon, and "Ube Kanobe". Ube Kanobe? Sounds too much like Obi Wan Kanobi.

    It's not that spicy, actually. But I really enjoyed eating it.

  • They made wasabi flavored ice cream at ColdStone ice cream shops this past summer. Someone that bought and finished a bowl was taken a picture of and hung on the wall. (It is no longer being offered however).
