Tyrell, Inc. has a product out called "Zeno", designed to remove a pimple from your skin by zapping it with heat.
Hmm, what ever will dermotologists do if this works??? I can't see buying it myself, although teenagers might make it a super seller. Hope there is a follow up to find out if it really works.
By , at 9/29/2005 03:18:00 PM
Perhaps they will continue to diagnose skin disease and treat skin cancer?
By , at 9/30/2005 02:49:00 AM
Hmmm...what if they combined it with the iPod Nano? That should get some teenage attention.
By , at 9/30/2005 05:23:00 AM
so the IPOD will end up costing 600 dollars and will break if you drop it..... bad idea.... good thought

I think the product is cool. I checked out their site www.myzeno.com and looks like Zeno is legit. It's a better alternative than Retin A, and not being able to go out in the sun.

I actually have one and like it. I have used it for a week now and tried it on a few friends and it definitely decreased the amount of healing time. I have a problem of dark spots if I pick at a pimple and with this I don't have to pick anymore.
By , at 9/30/2005 04:03:00 PM
I have been doing this my whole life with a zippo. Light it, let the cover heat up a bit, then apply.
By , at 10/02/2005 08:31:00 AM
I have it, it works, it's amazing. This empowers me to take care of the breakout without damaging my skin or taking drugs.
I love the 21st century!

Why $200-$300 ? I am a full time student and work full time to pay fro school. I can't spend $225 for it at one time. Can't it be a little cheaper for College students?????
Thanks,

Hey,
Does that Zippo thing work for you? And this device, I really would like to try it, but seriously, $225, that's way overpriced. Also, if it helps clear your face up, what should you use to keep new ones from forming?
By , at 11/26/2005 01:31:00 PM
Go to Ebay to buy much cheaper. Mine arrives in the mail soon. I have mild acne and this in it self will not stop acne but will lessen the healing time. Will report back after my use.
By , at 1/03/2006 06:01:00 AM
$199 found at www.livelyskin.com
$202 at www.ExpressionLines.com
can't find it cheaper
By , at 1/03/2006 01:45:00 PM
I was really dispointed with Zeno. It didnt heal the breakout, but did make it more red and irriated.
By , at 1/16/2006 09:56:00 AM
I just read a news article in which a doctor says the Zeno Zit Zapper works.
Zeno Zit Zapper News Article
By , at 2/16/2006 01:27:00 PM
NO, IT DOES NOT WORK. The guys running this company used to market DIAPERS, for crying out loud, until THAT business failed. The cited studies were funded by these nuts, not independent researchers and they don't take returns - RED FLAG!!!! Don't buy it.
By , at 2/17/2006 06:56:00 PM
it seems to work on my daughter, but we have a wierd problem with it. we have an Invisible Fence for our dogs -- so they wear the collar. when she used the zeno, it triggers the collar and the dogs go nuts. anyone else have this problem?

This thing works by killing bacteria, so it can't actually cure your acne. From the user reviews that I've read Zeno seems to work if you catch a pimple early on.
Click here for more detailed review of Zeno Zit Zapper.

I was very interested in buying this until i saw the price and that you have to buy replacement tips.....for $35 How often do you have to replace the tips?
By poisonxxheart, at 5/11/2006 06:14:00 PM
You have to chance the tip every 90 uses, so each last a bit.
You can find them on ebay for quite cheap, I have a brand new one that was only 150. it's still a lot though.
Look for replacement tips on ebay too.

Instead of buying this product. You can boil water and take a face cloth and dip it in the boiling water. roll the cloth up to make a point and place it on a pimple until you feel a sharp pain, then remove. this should make a noticable difference within an hour.
By , at 10/08/2006 10:57:00 AM
Iam so glad that someone made something to make acne better try it.
By , at 11/04/2006 01:19:00 PM
the zit zapper is only good on pimples that are not white or black heads you still have to use other products to prevent future breakouts I think I am going to try a Microdermabrasion yeah its like $450 dollars 200 more then the zit zapper
By , at 1/16/2007 12:55:00 AM
selling at $150. not $225, at walgreens or walgreens.com....75 less dollars sounds good!
By , at 1/23/2007 12:58:00 PM
I saw the product today at walgreen's for about $150. Still expensive, but cheaper than whats been posted earlier.
By , at 5/13/2007 09:04:00 AM
i want to try it now, sounds amazing. The thing with boiling water, yeah same concept, but this thing u can put in ur pocket and do it secretly from anyone else. CHECK ebay, www.ebay.com, they sell it for under $100 or close to a hundred, save some money for college
By , at 7/29/2007 03:29:00 AM
IT FREAKING SUCKS! DONT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP! IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORTH IT! IT MADE ME ALMOST DIE! MY SKIN GOT A WEIRD REACTION..and fell off!

becky
By , at 7/29/2007 09:22:00 PM
Has the product been tested by independent researchers?
By , at 9/09/2007 05:31:00 AM
i want a zeno so bad but reading this makes me wonder, i mean soem say yes some say no. what to believe? lol, but if i can get it at 100 it would be great because im just a teenager, but my parents dont buy me nething these days,so id have to get it myself, but to tell u the truth i dont care cause god gave me pimples so love 'em,lol, thanks!!!!

its a money back garuntee isnt it? it cant work for everyone... proactive never worked for me and its supposed to work for EVERYONE. i want to use this, but $200? heck i could get 3 or 4 facials in a year that would clear my face up for that price...
By , at 10/07/2007 05:40:00 PM
There is a 30 day money back gurantee. Which is plenty of time to determine if ZENO works on your skin. It's great for those inopportune times when an outbreak occurs (like having a hot date the next night!)
I would highly recommend ZENO. If you have more in depth questions you can always visit their website at www.myzeno.com.

I just got it this morning, and I used it earlier today, about 5 hours later, these huge nasty zits from before, had shrunk to half their size! I haven't had it long enough to make a definite decision, but so far this is a miracle (on my skin at least)
I'm 13 so maybe this works best on teens? I am not sure though because on other websites there are adults raving over this as well.
By , at 12/10/2007 03:28:00 PM
This product is does work.
Its much easier then doing anything like using a Zippo Lighter or a hot cloth, and its much more effective.
Considering it now only costs $145.00 at CVS and Walgreans Drug stores.. I'd say its hella worth it.
I've spent $145.00 dollars in creams before I ever saw any results.
Its good if you only have a few problem areas, I don't know how it works to people with serious acne.
Mine is only 3 or 4 zits, and they managed to disappear within 36 hours after using the Zeno 3 times.
Yes, there is some redness RIGHT after application, but that goes away in about 20 minuets, so just give yourself some time for your skin to calm down before you go back out.
I use it all the time when I see a new blemish starting, and it's gone before it even has a chance to become a full blown zit.
10 out of fucking 10

Dont waste your money. It burned my pimple and with that my face left a scar...
By , at 7/16/2008 05:55:00 PM
It does not work very unhappy with this purchase.
By , at 7/16/2008 05:56:00 PM
I cured acne after reading a book called No Acne for Me. I thought there were no cure or treatment but apperently I looked the wrong places. Acne free and acne cure - get this book.
