The VitaC Shower Filter removes chlorine from your shower water, and replaces it with Vitamin C.
This shower filter is actually the Vitashower Vitamin C shower filter. I don't know what this guy is doing by rebranding it under VitaCShower, but he better watch out.
I actually buy and use the Vitashower brand shower filter from http://www.ronin-online.com. They have a very comprehensive website with live customer service reps that can answer any questions you may have about their products.
This thing actually works. I've tested it with a digital chlorine meter and found it to be effective at removing over 99% of residual chlorine in my shower water. My wife has absolutely fallen in love with it and refuses to take a shower without one.
Email me if you are interested in the facts about several of the top 10 shower filters currently being sold. I've tested them all and I can help you decide which one may be right for you. All shower filters are not created equal. No matter what the manufacturer may claim.

reviewguy, I market a whole line of advanced wellness technologies for the home. Among them is a shower system that also uses vitamin C but goes a couple of steps further. I'd be interested to know if you've ever tested it. You can see it in te Order Now section of www.wellness5.com. It's the PiMag Vitalizing Shower. It uses vitamin C to neutralize the chloring and provide antioxidants for the skin. It also incorporates filtration, ionization, and special ceramics.
My e-mail address is on the website. Thanks!

Robert vh,
I've heard of the PiMag a few times before. The dechlorinating technology behind it seems solid enough to at least warrant a second look IMO.
I just completed my shower filter review and it is now available to anyone interested.

I have never ever heard of vitamin c and shower heads before and at first I thought this was a joke but reading on I can totally see the benefits!
I think vitamin C is great and can't get enough!
I basically live on Berocca
vitamin c which has loads of vitamins and minerals in it! Great post.

Hello,
does anyone know whether this filter can be used with a hand-held shower?
I read the review by the reviewguy, and this seems one of the better filters, correct?
Based on his findings on what Chlorgon is, I like the idea of vit c much better... However, I would not want to give up the convenience of a hand-held...
Thanks much,
E.

reviewguy, You are not buying the genuine Vitashower product from ronin-online. They were successfully sued by Vitashower Corporation for copyright infringement for selling counterfeit knockoffs in August 2007. But as you are posting positive reviews and links to ronin everywhere, you probably know that. And probably get a commission from ronin...
