Ziploc Big Bags

by Steve
Saturday, October 08, 2005

What does the Jolly Green Giant use to store his leftover veggies? Why Ziploc Big Bags of course!

Ziploc "expanded" their product line recently to include two giant sizes, (2ft x 1.7ft) and (2ft x 2.7ft).

They're made from heavy duty plastic, come with built-in handles, and feature the same Ziploc seal that made Ziploc famous.

  • That's a great way to keep the neighborhood animals from smelling the dismembered body parts when you bury them in the backyard.

  • Would be an excellent, inexpensive way to keeps things dry on a boat.

  • These bags are great! You can use a vacuum attachment to use these as "space saver" bags. They work just as well for bulky items AND they are much cheaper!

  • I recently purchased the Ziploc Big Bags XL. It is very difficult to seal in such a large size, with large products inside. A "zipper" type feature that they have on their smaller conventional bags would have been better. You need at least 2 people to make sure the seal is properly zipped.

  • The best thing about these is that they are BIG, flexible, clear, and tight-sealing.

I sell T-shirts at conventions, and these are fabulous to store and transport them -- dust free, organized by size, and flat. Would also work for kids' clothes -- putting the summer stuff away in the dirty storage closet and finding them still clean 6 months later.
