Kimerbly-Clark, which makes the Kleenex brand of tissue paper, partnered with Sonoco, a manufacturer of consumer goods, to produce Kleenex Tissue Cups.
Each cup holds 50 tissues.
Kimberly-Clark's Mexico division wanted an entirely new look in tissue dispensers to stand out against already crowded store shelves, packed with traditional cardboard box dispensers. Sonoco, happened to have existing processes and materials in place to produce these plastic cylinder shaped containers, and hence Kleenex Tissue Cups was born.

I wonder if this idea was stolen or sold to Kimberly-Clark (I'm hoping the latter). Back about 2 or 3 Christmases ago this product was first put on the market by some unknown (yet innovative) woman named Lorraine Santoli. And thus TissueKups were born.
Per the Kleenex tissue cups, this is Lorraine Santoli and "yes," in my opinion Kimberly Clark stole the idea. They had my product in their hands for possible licensing as long as four years ago and then again about two years ago. They've changed the design from mine but essentially it's the same thing. I'm seeking legal recourse.
Looks like they'd fit in the cup holder of the car. 2 thumbs up!
Yikes, hope the legal stuff works out. From a consumer standpoint, I've been looking a long time for a way to store Kleenex in my car that doesn't remind me of my grandmother (no offense to her). Last note: plastic, really?? c'mon... Lorraine, if you come out with a "green" version, I'll be the first to stock up!!
I created this idea back in 2003. I have a specific target market and everything. How the heck do i see if I had it before them.. grrrr..

What are the chances that more than one person thought of the same idea? Also, Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb. Christopher Columbus did not discover America...It all depends on how big your voice is
Hi! I was involved in the design of these kleenex and all I can tell you is
1. This is not plastic, but carton... so the information is wrong,
2. The idea was not stolen from anybody, the first approach was a cylinder cardboard packaging and the idea evolved to this.
3. This is manufactured in Mexico, and mainly sold in Mexico, but they're exported to many other countries (not USA as far as I know)
4. This is a very old post, as by 2010 there are tens of different designs
