by Steve
Tuesday, November 29, 2005

Available in New Zealand is "Naughty Nads Bikini Design Kit". It's a "bikini area" depilatory kit that comes with four templates to create fun and shapely designs.

Naughty Nads uses a hot wax application to remove unwanted pubic hair. You first apply the template of your choice, then apply the wax.

Templates include, "love heart", "lightning bolt", "landing strip", and "bermuda triangle".

The kit contains a 140g jar of Mango & Peach-scented bikini wax along with spatulas, orange sticks, soothing and finishing wipes, and an extensive instruction booklet.

  • Very cool! The templates that come with it sound good, I bet we could also make our own templates too!

  • Figures a dude would post this. Thanks, Steve. Why don't you try it on your pubes first and tell us all how it feels?

  • Kendra- There's actually an ad for this in May's issue of Seventeen Magazine. The templates are hilarious. Especially the lightning bolt. I was a bit dissapointed that they didnt include a Christmas tree template and green dye, though.

  • This product is absolutely FANTASTIC. I've been using it for the last couple of months and I don't think I'll ever use anything else again.

To be honest though, I haven't used the shapes it comes with (not that you really need them).

Oh, and it smells really yummy.

  • YOU MUST see the ad in Cosmo - its a picture of ,,,, wait for it ,,,, Bald (except for the patch left by the cut out nads design) PUSSY CATS - the most HILARIOUS, LOL, precocious ad I have seen in a verrrrry loooong time. Good for them. (havent tried the product - I find a razor waaaay less scary than RIPPING FUR from down there)

  • i heated the wax a bit too hot, and i ended up damaging the nerves in my clitorus. the microwave i used had a higher wattage than most, and now i will never be able to feel sexual pleasure agian. i had to go through a series of embarrassing docotors appiontments and diagnoses, along with itchy/burning creams, gels and medications. in the end, i wish i had never tried any product like this. you girls should be happy with the way you are! be proud of your pubes!

  • I bought the kit but can I go brazilian using it?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7/26/2006 12:34:00 PM

  • the product works well. It is easier to pull off if a bit of oil is applied. smells good.

  • Saw this ad in a magazine, thought it was interesting...

For whoever asked about going all the way with this product....you typically use Brazilian HARD wax in the cracks(the area not flat and easily reached for getting very firm grip)...if you get my drift....believe me....I learned this one from experience...on myself....someone used a soft wax on my nether regions and lets just say I lost skin.....

I know I probably confused some people here....But let me offer you some advice...and It's not because of what I do....

Just go to a professional if you plan to do a brazilian...this product is for taking a little off the top. You can really do some damage trying this at home....

Heck, I even have a professional wax pot and i STILL make an appointment and go in to have mine done.

Now, I am not trying to downgrade Nads in any way....I used to have Nads and LOVED it....Just saying Naughty Nads Not = to Brazilian

    Naughty Nads for BIKINI AREA.....

  • Ok, let me tell you about this product, I just spent the last hour with my husband manually ripping off every pubic hair. This product sucks and I'm very upset, I use NADS all the time.

I'm not knocking NADS as a whole, but the bikini wax did not pull out my hair, then hardend and caused me some pain. I wouldn't recommend it.

  • good on icecream

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/15/2006 06:12:00 AM

  • really good product just make sure you apply the wax quite thick or else it dries extremely quickly and is awful to get off once its gone hard and crusty

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12/10/2006 11:45:00 PM

  • Lazar all the way. There's no hair down there! It's been two years and it's all gone. It took 9 sessions, one a month and I couldn't be happier. Waxing is painful, messy, ingrown hairs and way too easy to hurt yourself. Waxing vs lasar, the two just don't compare!

  • this stuff is AMAZING! im new at the waxing stuff n i was told to get this one..its soo easy and nott veryyy painful at all!! A+!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4/19/2007 07:06:00 PM

  • you filthy animals!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/05/2007 11:57:00 AM

  • does laser hurt? and about how much did it cost?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/26/2007 05:27:00 PM

  • Ohhh Cum On...

    Leave something for:

    Imagination

Let it be a simple Well Groomed Garden

    Leave some for Tooth Floss

  • I am currently taking a mid-wax break. This product works very well so long as the wax is warm, but it cools down quickly. I've had to re-microwave it several times.

It is also the most painful experience of my young life. Otherwise, very effective!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2/02/2008 01:03:00 PM

  • I read all the comments here prior to using the product and would like to add my two cents. I absolutely agree with Trish's advice - this product is only good on the "flat" parts. It is really tough to get off of "ahem" any crevices - very painful. Can still be used to make a "strip", but really only the front, visible, part of you should ever be graced by this wax.

    Here are my top tips:
    1) Make sure to generously apply the wax, leaving a greater amount on the downward edge so you have something to grip

    2) Once it has been applied, touch the wax and once it has become a bit less sticky and you feel it has some grip, pull it off immediately. Letting it get even somewhat hard makes for a painful experience. Small sections worked well for me, 3"x 1" was what I tried

    3) It's pretty messy. I found it helpful to apply the wax with one hand, and have a paper towel in the other, holding it right under the area where you're stopping your wax application. It helps you avoid getting the wax onto dangerous areas, as highlighted by Katie M.'s scary post

    4) Use the enclosed Nad's finishing wipes right away, helps soothe redness

A bit painful but worked quite well. I am however, like to try a different product with cloth strips next time.

  • you're supposed to heat it up for a couple seconds, and then you're supposed to test it out on your wrist to make sure its not too hot.

then you apply the wax in the direction of hair growth, and you let it curl at the end. you wait for it to dry (thirty seconds) or until its soft and not liquidy, and then you pull it up!! vwala!

  • lol another nads bikini horror story... i hate shaving its annoying and can be painful specially when u nick ur poonanny, which i did when i slipped in the shower lol ... its funny laugh... so i saw the nads naughty... and thought hello freedom... brought it home pulled out the stickers and stuck them to my bfs closet door... brazilian fan here no designs i jus think its pointless... well i heated it up in the microwave got it perfect... not too hot but liquidy...put it on the ole coochie noticed a little pull on the hair not too bad... waited till it was hard... and yoinked it... it hurt like a BIATCH and only the very tip of the end came off... i had to call my sister to help me pull this shit off muh coochie... it broke into several little pieces and i still dont grow hair in that one spot...needless to say i didnt use anymore of it...but was tempted to do it again cause i have a bald spot on her and hell if i never have to do it again ill jus do one section a month HAHAHA...no seriously try something else with a backing strip its much safer and easier... this is jus too hard to time without it drying too quickly... and if it drys u better get something to cut it out cause rippin it off is gonna hurt like a bitch

  • I've been using it for about a year and do the full works. I'm very sensitive and used to bruise with anything else. Very impressed with product. No problems but follow some rules. Use talcum powder first. Test wax on wrist. Apply in medium length and thickness strips. Peel bottom end of strip up as it cools. The edges cool quickest. Tap strip all over to cool it and get it off as soon as it is not tacky. Hair must be 1/4 cm long. Reheat tub a couple of times and mix well. Use a mirror. Don't put as much on as will drip. I find it pretty easy. Sometimes painful so don't do it if period is coming or if have period. Saves a fortune.
