This remote controlled car has square wheels, and yup it actually moves, and yup the wheels actually go around.
Not being a physics major, I can't really explain it, but maybe this description from the car's inventor will help...The weight shifting that propels the car is facilitated by a weight offset laterally from the center of the car that is moved in a rotational manner around the center of the car. The rotation is provided by a driven shaft extending vertically from the center of the car, with a lateral arm and off-set weight. As the shaft rotates, the weigh shifts in a circular manner around the car.
Got it? If that's not enough, you can always watch the video.

All the description from the web site says is that there's a rotating shaft in the middle of the car connected to an arm with a weight on the end.
I can see the creativity in using square wheels... Neat post.
