A Toothbrush that Makes a Clicking Sound

The new Click Toothbrush makes a clicking sound whenever you brush too hard, letting you know to ease up.

When you brush too hard the toothbrush will bend and give way with a noticeable "click". The mechanism sits in a joint in the handle and will be felt as a click under your thumb when you brush too hard. It's designed to reduce damage to teeth enamel and gums resulting from over-zealous brushing.

Norwegian-based Jordan AS, the brush's manufacturer, says that as many as 3 out of 4 people brush too hard.
