Handbag designer Deborah Rachelle incorporates a special hook with each of her handbags allowing the user to hang it off a table instead of sitting down on the floor or elsewhere.
The handbag hook idea itself is not new; I remember seeing those in Miles Kimball (or was it Walter Drake?) catalogs many years ago. I suppose integrating the hook into the design of the handbag is new, but the weighted disk holding the hook on which the handbag hangs is not new. :)

Useless, absolutely useless.

These have been around for years. My 98 year old grandmom had one in Hong Kong ages ago! Apparently, they are finally showing up on American soil as a "new innovation". Proves we're still lightyears behind.

There's some really gorgeous ones at www.baghookboutique.com. They come in a really cute box with a bow on top. I got one for my sister for her birthday and she loved it. They are better quality than some of the ones I've seen around.
xx
