Color-A-Cookie

by Steve
Friday, February 24, 2006

Color-A-CookiePlainview, NY-based Color-A-Cookie is offering a line of cookies that come with color markers.

The Cookie Coloring Kits contain a cookie and four non-toxic food coloring markers. Kids just color in the drawings, and start pigging. No baking required.

Through a licensing agreement with Universal Studios, the cookies come in a variety of characters, including Curious George, Superman, Disney Princess, Mick & Friends, Kim Possible, Family Guy, Kong, and Winnie the Pooh.

After they eat the cookie, the food-color pens can be used to color macaroni, pop-tarts, sandwich bread, or even each other's tongues!

  • I saw these a couple years ago in a sponge bob variety at my friends birthday party for her kid. They are pretty decent and taste alright. I just had fun coloring them.

  • I feel like a killjoy, but this concept bothers me... kids might think that it's OK to color food with any type of marker and eat it.
Food and office supplies should not cross the streams.
