Diamond Filtered Vodka

diaka vodkaDiaka Vodka is being billed as the world's most expensive vodka, maily because of its unique diamond filtration process.

It's made in Poland where they use nearly one hundred diamonds of up to one carat in size, to filter the spirit resulting in a Vodka with unsurpassed clarity and smoothness. The bottle itself is made with crystals, though not of the diamond variety.

It's now being distributed to the USA by TransBorder Spirits USA, a division of TransBorder Marketing, Inc.

As a Pole, I've never heard of this vodka.

I do not see how diamonds, in the form you imagine when you hear "diamonds", makes any difference in filtration. They're probably using regular carbon granules "up to 1 carat" to filter this. Lame.

As a Polican (half-Mexican, half-Polish), I have not heard of this spirit either.

"The bottle itself is made with crystals, though not of the diamond variety"

Perhaps the SiO2 variety?

So this is the most expensive vodka? How much is it?

I'm selling vodka filtered through a 100% Canadian liver! Alcohol content is low in the final product, but what a gimmick! BUY IT NOW!!

I guess it would be a great way to get a woman to like you.Lure her with diamonds, then get her drunk, it'll be your lucky night.(unless you get drunk first)

YEAH Saint Patrick's Day!!!!

Hey, they don't sell it in Poland! Has anyone actually seen this vodka?

what a load of shite. what the fuck is wrong with smirnoff or absolut? plus crystal bottles dont smash aswell over heads.

Vodka filtered through diamonds. Alot of vodka is fitlered through quartz crystals and neither you nor the vodka are going to be able to tell the difference. Try Ikon True Russian Vodka quadruple distilled and filtered, smooth and excellent and pleasantly inexpensive.

This is just another way to get money out of stupid people. I'm sure we'll see people flashing bottles of this stuff in some hip-hop videos.

This vodka is mentioned in a Greg Iles book I'm reading. I'm Australian and we know nothing about Vodka :) It all tastes much the same when mixed with Coke - drunk straight I imagine there'd be a difference though.

This automatically leads to the next step in marketing: filtering Coke through "diamonds" as well... let's create a website on that!

I have personally purchased a brand of vodka known as Crystal Head vodka. What sold me on it was that its Dan Aykrod's signature drink. It is triple distilled over diamonds like this, cost less than sixty bucks, and comes in a keepsake glass skull. It literlly tastes like water until the after taste hits you. For people who prefer quality over quanity, I suggest diamond distilled vodka. But don't pay ridiculous prices! Be reasonable

come to think of it, check it out for yourself

I think we have all forgotten the "absolut" truth..which is??? Diamonds come from pressurized charcoal. which most of 70-80% of all vodkas are distilled from. what do i think? Complete BS! I will stick to my Kettle. peace

The most expensive vodka in the world is DIVA it's one million dollars per bottle. And it tastes amazing. But the reason it so expensive is because of the diamonds and jewels that come in the bottle. :)

But I have never heard of this brand.

Diamond Filtration is also used on other Vodkas. Check out Three Sixty Vodka, they´ve been doing it for a long time. It´s a process that does take out smaller particles than milk or ice filtration. My understanding is that these are high quality carbon granules filters with carbon of a quality that´s asimilar to diamonds. Diamonds are carbon after all...
I haven´t tried this Vodka (somehow the combination of diamonds and Poland...) but I really like the smoothness of other diamond filtrated vodkas.
