• I don't know that I would call this either strange nor new. I've used hemp lip balm for years, simply because it doesn't make me break out like petroleum based ones. They sell a whole line at the Body Shop - it has nothing to do with being marijuana flavoured. Of course, this particular brand plays that up, but you can get this stuff pretty much anywhere - at least in Canada.

• I own a ton of hemp lip balms, there's nothing controversial or weird about it.
  Certain companies just like to make it more interesting.. and these kinds of products are targeted for a younger crowd
