NASCAR FanviewIn a joint effort, Sprint Nextel, NASCAR, and Kangaroo.TV have launched a new wireless tracking device called "NASCAR NEXTEL FanView".

It's a handheld scanner allowing NASCAR fans to hear radio communications between drivers, watch televised video, as well as in-car camera channels, along with audio replay-features. It's also taps directly into NASCAR's timing and scoring system, providing fans with real-time race data and statistics at the touch of a button.

The device will make its debut on Feb. 17 at Daytona International Speedway, where it will be available for rent.

So I'm going to travel to the racetrack & sit there all weekend watching this little TV screen and ignoring actual cars going round & round in circles in front of me. Rather than sitting at home watching cars on a BIG screen.
