I have this problem of never having a pen handy when I need one. I only have them when I don't need them. This is why I ask people not to buy me expensive gift pens.

One time I grabbed up about 30 logo'd pens from my old employer (they had thousands of them), took them home, and scattered them everywhere, into desks, kitchen drawers, coffee table, by the phone, everywhere. About a year later, I couldn't find a single one of them.
