A company called Petsleeves, LLC. is offering a product called "Petsleeves".
It's billed as "Disposable Petwear", primarily to reduce the amount of loose pet hair and allergens on your furniture and rug, and to help protect your dog from fleas and burrs.
It's made of 100% polyester, and you don't wash it, just throw it away. It kinda resembles those plastic/rubber panties that mommies used to put on their babies.
One interesting point, is that it could prevent dogs from biting a surgical wound, which eliminates having to wear the "lamp shade".
Now if they'd only come out with the matching shower cap, then your dog could look like it was wearing surgical scrubs.
They come in eight different sizes, priced from $14.95 to $18.95.

Yes indeed your right. The doggie sleeve does look a lot like a pair of baby rubber pants. I was a cloth diaper mom and used rubber pants on my children. Great invention!
at $18 a piece ,thats pretty expensive to throw away .
People that are so desperate to not get dog hair on their furniture that they want to make their dogs look like THAT - should not be allowed dogs. Bring back the dog license say I!
Petsleeves are made of a soft fabric-like material-they are not rubber/plastic-like. Also, they are sold in a two-pack and are reusable! They are breathable and comfortable. Do we not cover ourselves while in the house or while driving our cars? Why do we do this? We do not think it odd anymore to bring our pet animals into the house or car - why is it odd to think about covering them as we do ourselves for cleanliness and/or protection? Thanks for reading!
