Linatree claims to have made the first free downloadable pinhole camera that you can print out, cut out, and assemble together. Check out their Flash animation instructions.
I remember doing something like this in elementary school, except it didn't look anything a like a "real" camera, at least nothing this fancy and intricate.
What kind of film does this camera use?You can use a PAN film from Ilford or Neopan 100 from Fuji.
Linatree is actually in the business of selling signed silver art prints by famous french photographers. This downloadable camera is perhaps a great way to attract attention.
You can also use any 35 mm film.

Now that is cool. I was just having a conversation about pinhole cameras not three days ago.

This camera looks exactly like the Dirkon paper camera which was published in the magazine "An ABC of Young Technicians and Natural scientists" in former Czechoslovakia 1979. the design is by Martin Pilnù, Mirek Kolar and Richard Vyäkovskù. In fact the design is identical.
so !
If you read their site....it does mention that they used that exact design...
