A book publisher has come up with the idea of printing text sideways on the page so that readers can lie in bed on their side and read at the same time.
They've republished all the old classics, Huckleberry Finn, Dracula, Wuthering Heights, ... all the stuff that's out of copyright.
It's supposed to relieve neck and back pain associated with reading normal books.
I agree, reading books are a big pain.

Wow, a burn on reading books.
Unsubscribed!
Or you could turn the book sideways...
Yes, you can turn the book sideways, but then you have to turn your body the other direction every time you switch from an odd to even page (or vice-versa).
For a while I got in the habit of just flipping the book so that I had to read every other page upside-down. It took a while to get good at it, but then I was up close to my normal reading speed.

Great idea!! I love reading in bed!
Just think... if they did cookbooks like that, and a hole... you could hang it up like a calendar and read recipes off it... That's a wicked idea... especially in my tiny kitchen..
you guys are all poo heads who have no lives!!!!
Why the heck would you need to turn your body over for every odd or even page? I've been reading in bed while lying on my side since I could read, and at age 5 I was smart enough to turn the book on it's side too.
If you're too lazy to hold the book up, wait for the paperback edition ;)
