Corn-Based Water Bottle with Filter

by Steve
Thursday, October 26, 2006

Corn-Based Water BottleNew Wave Enviro Products out of Englewood, CO makes a new water bottle that contains a built-in filter. Just fill it up with tap water, and let the filter remove the stuff that gives water its nasty taste.

Moreover, the bottle itself is made from corn. The manufacturer claims it will biodegrade in 80 days in a commercial compost system (is that anything like tossing it in the trash?).

You can refill the bottle as many as 90 times, but must be hand washed.
