Arcade Marketing Inc., in tandem with the California Milk Processor Board, is putting up a new type of advertisement at bus stops that emit the smell of chocolate chip cookies.
Of all the weird things that have ever turned up on this site, this is the weirdest. What about the mixture of chocolate chip cookies and normal bus stop smell?

These things were up in SF for about 15 minutes before they were removed.
"Some critics expressed concern over potential allergic reactions. Others complained the ads could be offensive to the poor and homeless who can't afford to buy sweet treats."
Don't want to offend the homeless. They're a BIG constituency here.

That's digusting.
I should think that we have the right to go out and just have fresh air.
They are tying to bombard us with advertsing every which way. This is going too far.
Not to mention the physical effects etc it will have on some people. (as people have mentioned)
