The Flexisnake is like a plumbing snake, except it has a piece of Velcro at the end to pull hair out of a sink drain.
Hair is leading cause of clogged drains in bathroom sinks, so it stands to reason that Velcro can be used to clear out clogged drains.
You feed the Velcro end down a sink drain, and spin it around, and then pull it out. Since the hair clog is often entangled, the entire clog can be pulled out at once.
Cost is $2.95 each.

I bought the 3 pack of these over the weekend and let me tell you - they work. I've tried everything in our upstairs bathroom and this unplugged them. The best part is the size of the flexi-snake head - you can push through the bad clogs - and having a wife and daughter with long hair - nightmare amounts of hair came out. Awesome product.
This is one of the greatest inventions of this century. It cost less than most liquid drain clog removers and it works even better. So simple I wish I would have thought of it. I ordered one and used it yesterday on my bathroom sink and pulled out a mess of my wifes hair and all the crud that had built up around it. I'm going to order a three pack so i'll always have one handy around the house.
Yes. This works great.. I am going to need this again. It saved me time and money last year.
I am going to order more to save for future.
Is there a flickr page yet of the drain art resulting from the use of this product? If not, I'll have to start one. I have to say I admire the simplicity of this one. It seems green, too.
seems like a great product, too bad i can't use it without throwing up.
