Throx is a company that sells socks, claiming to have solved the problem of the missing sock: by selling three socks instead of two.
> I bought ten fingernail clippers at the drug store,
> and spread them all over the house,
Wow, I thought I was the only one who'd done that... small world. :)

Little Miss Matched (dot com) has been doing the same thing for a year or more. The only difference is they are tastefully mismatched.

I always drive multiple cars when I go shopping, since I frequently forget where I parked...

I make sure to have the nail clippers in all the cars too.

Oh my god, the nail clipper thing is brilliant! I am ALWAYS having to buy new nail clippers because I keep being unable to find all the ones I've bought previously.

Thanks (in triplicate), Steve, for plugging my invention Throx. Throx (and I) appeared this week on CNBC's The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch and I'll probably get around to posting it on YouTube sometime next week. It'll give you a giggle ... or three.

I commonly buy tons of chapstick tubes and hair things and then I don't have to worry that I can't find the damned things! Yeah!

I actually met the creator of throx in line at 2:30 a.m. getting pizza while drunk. It was...entertaining.

That just might be the most brilliant thing I've ever seen. I'm always managing to lose my left sock. Now I have a backup.
