The Fizz is a plastic cup that screws on to a plastic PET bottle allowing you to create a mobile ice cream float.
Once you screw the cup to a bottle, fill it up with ice cream, then insert a straw, and finally, squeeze the bottle. This fills the cup with soda, allowing you to sip out a mixture of ice cream and soda.
The cup is reusable, but not dishwasher safe.

At first glance, I thought this was a pretty ghetto contraption, but upon further inspection (http://www.thefizzcup.com/) I think it might be a good idea. I just wonder how functional it really is: if it is more trouble than it is worth. It looks pretty top heavy and the graphic design does not clearly represent what it does. The name is bad and the background looks more like rancid orange juice with ice cubes than float froth. Interesting find, nonetheless. Thank you for sharing.
It seems you can't actually drink from the straw, or you'd just get plain rootbeer. If they added a built in straw for the lid, so you could sip it, it might be better. Make the top like a toddler's sippy cup.
As it's built now, filling the little cup with ice might be a handy way to quickly chill a drink.
Perhaps a better idea would be to simply market a tiny melon baller as an icecream scoop?
Soon as these things hit the Dollar Tree, I'm all over em. I give it a year.
Wow, I was just telling somebody about this the other day and they thought I was crazy. It's simple device for making an ice cream float. Now, I'm going back over 40 years with this, so the 20-something person I told this to had never seen one of these.
It seems there are a bunch of 20-somethings working at strangenewproducts.com who had never heard of this, either, until very recently. How amusing.
The cup doesn't actually work properly. It's hard to screw onto a soda bottle. Once on, though, it works great to make a "volcano" ice cream float. But then when you go to drink out of the opening (like on a coffee) more soda comes out the straw opening. All you get is more soda to water down your ice cream. You don't get to enjoy the "float" aspect unless you like melted ice cream in your soda. *sigh* I had high hopes for this one.

Looks like a good solution.
Now that is a 'Cool' idea!
If only it wasn't so awkward looking. Definitely enjoy floats, although the first one I did have was at Denny's.
This is the most idotic idea ever made, it's completely pointless, it only takes about a minute to make a float, so why bother even making this product. Besides I can bet most of you people were paid to say good things about this pointless product.
Those things have been around forever. My Mom was on the TV show "Lets make a Deal" when I was a kid, early to mid 60's, this was what she brought to trade Monty Hall.
Haha. I do like the idea, but I have to agree with dman marshall. How hard it is to make an ice-cream float? I would like a company to setup online though that would just help people create their crazy kitchen device ideas into products. Could end up with some really useful new stuff.

I like this because making root beer floats can be a pain. Overflowing and what not. I'm a busy guy, who has the time?!
I'll take a case of these.
It was called a "Fizz-Nik" in its prior incarnation. We all had them.
when i was a kid 1960s my dad bought a straw that had a ball in it ,that you put ice cream in just unscrew ball put the ice cream in it and a glass of coke woo' la coke float
Dude that's beast! It's the bes idea ever!!!!!
I remember these things from the mid-sixties. They were called Fizniks. The problem was and probably still is that when thos soda hit ice cream, it's like soad and Mentos. We wore more floats than we ever drank.
haha.. i saw this on shark tank
